Truly joy was there with the inmates of that place, and when they said, "Merry Christmas" I thought, the 'SEASON' has come!!!

Ludwig van Beethoven grew up sullen and undignified. Many in the music world ignored him. But he continued to compose and play music, which flowed from his heart and often conventional musicians found it not according to the rules.

He once met his contemporary great, ‘Mr. Music’, Mozart, and played before him. Mozart wasn’t impressed and before he left, Beethoven pleaded with him to give a theme for him to improvise. Beethoven eventually was proving to become one of the classic composers of his time. He wrote symphonies which had innovative and capturing movements. But tragedy struck him as ever again, though this time a bit different – he was losing his hearing senses. Sad! - by the time he finished his 5th symphony (9 in all) he was “stone deaf”.

While many of his works were real ‘Master Piece’, to me one stood out, as I heard ‘Joyful Joyful we adore thee’. Beethoven composed this enduring total deafness.

So, I think when God wants to bless something, no matter what state it is in, He will still make it stand out. This only makes us feel what a mighty God we have, and strengthen our faith upon Him.

Ok guys, scientists in Swiss-french border are trying to create the situation similar to the sun by bombarding particles using 27km particle accelerators. They will try to simulate how the earth looked at its beginning. As a side effect, they might create a "BLACK HOLE", which is a phenomenon that sucks every matter into it. So theoretically if they create a small black hole the entire world could be sucked into it and that would be the end of the world.

Why do we address, the way we do??-VJ

I was thinking today, why we address our elders wrongly, just interms of relationships.

A few examples:
1) I called Janet Akka/Athai once Chithi.
2) Myself, Ajay and Mani call Bobby Mama and his mom has Vijaya Chithi.
3) The worst is Korattur Dany's family. I sometimes refer to them as Periappa-Periama, sometimes as Mamma-Athai.

I thought that I was the one who makes this blunder all the time. But today I realised that Arul also refers to his grandmother/Athai has Periama.Arul how did Sironmani ammachi or Athai become Periamma? I am confused and I wrote this confusing post.

I guess its really easy in English, where you just refer all of them as Uncles and Aunties.

Christians and Fish-VJ

I read an article about a Jesus Fish symbol. So thought I would share. This is called as "Ichthys", during the early christian period, due to the fear of persecution, when a Christian met a stranger in the road, the Christian sometimes drew one arc of the simple fish outline in the dirt. If the stranger drew the other arc, both believers knew they were in good company. The symbol is still used today to show that the bearer is a practicing Christian.

Bobby Mama could throw some light on its historical significance if any, maybe related to Peter or the early fishing disciples/missionaries.

Suddenly the monitors showed some activity. There was a buzz around.
Something good was happening. It was successful and there she came out of the operation theatre ALIVE.

She is a weak young lady with numerous complexity in her body. Her mother and sister (she lost her father) were clearly upset on how she will get through this. But she was repeatedly given these words from Jeremiah 29:11. She strongly believed it. She never felt any discomfort. During her operation and before going unconscious she only prayed this. “Lord I would stand a witness and share it with as many as I could, if I come back alive. I place my life in Your hands”.

Let me tell you what... (part 1) - Prax

She was admitted for an open Heart surgery in the Apollo Hospital, Chennai.

The date was fixed and terror struck on people around her, but she was unruffled. Days to hours, hours to minutes, minutes to seconds… and there the big round lights went on, on top of her. Those masked men were working frantic and artificial respiration was on.

Complex process! ‘50-50’ chance was already informed to the representative. To worsen the fear, the negative 50 was taking over. Deteriorating! Dreadful and confused, the men in mask worked hectic but lost hope inside. Some of them even gave up and sat down still watching those monitors as it was nearing a halt .....

I am not sure, how many of you know about the situation in Zimbabwe. The economy crashed a long time back and I heard accounts of people not finding water to drink etc etc. But the situation would be better understood, if you consider the value of 1 Zimbabwe Dollar. Yesterday it crashed so badly, that 1 USD was equal to 1 Billion Zimbabwe Dollar ( Yes, 1 Billion !!). That means one Indian rupee is equal to 2.2 crores Zimbabwe Dollar.
Just thought that this would be an eye opener for us.

I was thinking of writing a blog, but no news, and so, this blog. This only goes to show that even if you don't have matters to jot, you can still manufacture scraps. Sharon turned 8 on May 8th. Growing taller and smarter.

Mr. Melvyn turns 67 on 21st.

Bobby turns 37 on 22nd. Grey hairs have started to sprout.

Command UNO! - Prax

This happened during the age of steam engines to diesel engines. A rich man and a poor old lady lived in either side of a railway track. The poor old lady used to pick up small wooden pieces (used to power the steam engine) that spill out as the train pass by. This made up for her costs on firewood. Days changed. Steam engines out – Diesel engines in. She was not aware of the change. But surprisingly the lady continued picking woods beside the track.

A neighbor was watching this and found out why the rich man continued throwing wooden pieces from his backyard after the train passed by. He felt the meaning of the Prime Commandment.

The SKF has gone from active to silent & from silent to still. Why? There could be reasons to it like,

But I am sure we will make it big when we have our SKF gathering. Unfortunately this can’t be done as people got scattered all around. There might be a solution to it. Lets put off our personal intricacies and just think of the lighter side of our fellowship we used to have. We may get a move on (non net users excused). At least “Crow Crowd” stays in memory. Down but not OUT!
