On the morning of Aug 2, 1964 after an agonizing and intense search, his body was found amongst the wreckage of a shattered plane. At 13:00 that afternoon, radio stations across the US announced to their shocked and stunned audiences that he had been killed in a plane crash. He was 40 years old.This man literally takes a corner in every home. Even non-Christians do remember him. Though he is not a well known icon in the US, this American has a huge fan list in Asia.
