Merry Christmas, Happy New Yr and Pongal also!!!!!

Its been a month and half since anything happened on the blog front. But the reason all the people who post happened to be in India :) My trip to India was amazing, we all spend so much time together doing so much things. A short summary of the activities we all did for the benefits of the Canadians, Dubai people and Madurai people.

1) Restaurants: We went to all the restaurants in Chennai and tried all cuisines, Mexican, Italian, American and Caribbean and yeah ofcourse Chettinad. The mexican was the best, with all of us enjoying the wait for the food and the non-eatable food itself rather than the food. We tried nachos, steak, spaghetti, caribbean cajun chicken, fajita. Albert had the best time, coz he cudnt touch anything. Myself, Aj, mani, arul, albert and bobby mama were together for the entire duration and Aj drove us around. We missed Prax though who joined us for the carol rounds.

2) Games: We tried bowling, Albert again was the star, he initially threw all his shots into the gutter before finishing 4th above Arul who was last. We tried snooker also, we played so badly that in 1 hr, we just managed to pot 3-4 balls and mind u 4 people were playing, again Prax was missed.

In cricket, prax reached his highest score in Perambur, which is 1 run. He achieved this feat after being on a streak of 20 consecutive ducks.

3) Prayer: Almost everyday we had someone or other leading us in family prayer meetings

4) Xmas day and New yrs: Xmas was at perambur with the Xmas tree function and the manger scene enacted by the family elders. Newyr was at Kosapet and the highlight apart from the food, was the time we spent together lying in the same room bringing back nostalgic memories, when Appu was a kid.

So, yeah, altogether was an amazing trip.
